Miss Nancy
Nancy (Kobert) Riegler aka: Miss Nancy is your host and the voice of the Wild West Turkey Stampede. Former trainer and show producer at the San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park, San Diego TV personality and long time county and state fair veteran performer, Miss Nancy narrates the action in what she affectionately refers to as her dream show. "After so many years writing and presenting educational, wild animal shows, I never thought I would find myself the host of a turkey rodeo.  But this show is the greatest vehicle for comedy and down right hilarious audience interaction that I have ever seen!  I look forward to every performance!"

Cowboy Gil
Camel Rancher (Discovery Channel's hit TV show DIRTY JOBS), Animal Trainer and Gem Cutter, Gil Riegler aka: Cowboy Gil is the hidden talent of the show.  Big Red's right hand man, he steers the trusty truck through herds of galloping turkeys like a number one Indy driver.  Every little kid (and dad)'s BIG hero, Cowboy Gil gets shout outs where ever he goes.
"At the end of each race I look out over the crowd and enjoy their reaction to the show.  People are laughing so hard they are practically crying with their hands on the shoulders of their friends.  This show is a wild shared experience that somehow grabs people deep down."

The Racing Turkeys
Is there such a bird as a racing turkey?  Our guess is no.  But, there are types of turkeys bred to be big, fat and delicious, like Turk-ules and there are older, earlier breeds of turkeys that are built much more like a wild turkey.  These breeds called heritage turkeys are leaner and much more athletic... like a wild turkey.  They are naturally good short-distance flyers and fast runners.

Big Red
Big Red is big dog of the Wild West Turkey Stampede.  He is brash and fast, loud and fearless.  Under his trail-tough red plastic exterior beats the heart of a Traxxas Emax; one of the fastest, most maneuverable electric RC cars on the market today.
Custom re-wired for eyelash quick stops and turns, Big Red literally runs for his life while the racing turkeys chase, jump, bump and basically assault from behind, beside and above!
Like any monster truck, he is loyal to his fans and puts on his own show with fast flips and meet-and-greets with kids.


Turk-ules
The pinnacle of American agricultural ingenuity, Turk-ules is the BIGGEST star in the show. A Broad Breasted Domestic Turkey, Turk-ules weighs in at as much as 60 pounds at two years old. Not a racer himself, he show-boats his massive size to the shock and awe of the crowd.
